I've adopted 2 adult dogs in my life, and both times I chose them bc they were soooooo focused on people. I lucked out and got 2 dogs that were more interested in me than anything else, which made giving them instructions so much easier. But many dogs are different and they are interested in everything else. This is a tip to help them focus on you and to build that relationship.
Rubbing raw honey, or Bach's Rescue Remedy on a dog's gums can help bring them back if they go into shock from trauma or respiratory issues!
