Birdling Bags

s born, I went to pack for our first weekend away. Starting with her diaper bag—which proved to be too small—I settled on a huge tote. Although Tess was only 9 pounds, her weight in items needed was quadruple her size. A weekend away with a child is hard enough, but my unorganized bag made it almost impossible. What started as a neatly packed tote, ended with a jumbled mess— bottles were swaddled, binkies were sucked into an abyss and diapers were covering the butt paste. Feeling frustrated, I knew that there had be a better way to keep stuff organized in a bag! A few nights later, during a bout of newborn sleep deprivation, the idea for a compartmentalized bag flew into my mind and Birdling was hatched. I knew that Meagan, my lifelong friend and very creative mother to Welles, Shay and Harris, would be the perfect partner to help this company take flight. Whether you are going on a long trip or everyday outings, the bag we carry is the defining element of our personal style—and sanity.
