Yesterday, ground was officially broken at Plaza Greene at Radburn Station in Fair Lawn Borough, NJ! ๐ช The project team and representatives from the Borough were joined by a number of distinguished guests, including Governor Mikie Sherrill.
Designed by Minno & Wasko Architects and Planners and developed by Danbro Properties and Sterling Properties, this transit-oriented, age-restricted community will bring 145 residential units for active adults 55+, including 15% affordable and supportive housing units, along with a long-awaited Sprouts Farmers Market just steps from the NJ TRANSIT station. ๐ Inspired by the historic Radburn Plaza Building across the street, the four-story development strengthens the connection between downtown , transit, and one of the communityโs most recognizable landmarks.
Arterial led the design of the streetscape, public realm, and rooftop amenities, creating a walkable environment with wide sidewalks, street trees, pedestrian lighting, and integrated furnishings. ๐ณ Above, residents will enjoy a rooftop courtyard featuring a series of outdoor rooms with lounge seating, grills, shaded gathering spaces, and a media wall.
