Mythos Changes the Game. ZTLP Changes the Outcome.

We're entering a new phase of cybersecurity. Tools like Mythos aren't just improving vulnerability discovery - they're reshaping the attacker capability curve itself.

What used to require deep expertise, months of research, and manual exploit development can now happen in a fraction of the time. The implication is uncomfortable but unavoidable: "secure enough" is no longer secure.

For decades, the playbook has been the same: patch vulnerabilities, harden systems, reduce the attack surface. But when vulnerabilities can be discovered faster than they can be fixed, prevention stops working as a primary strategy.

ZTLP (Zero Trust Layer Protocol) was built around a different assumption:

Compromise is inevitable. Access is optional.

Instead of trusting the network, ZTLP enforces trust at the connection level:
Identity before access. Every session is authenticated first. No identity, no connection.

Deny by default. Nothing is reachable unless explicitly allowed by policy.
End-to-end encrypted sessions. Traffic is never exposed in plaintext, even if a vulnerability exists.

No network exposure. Services aren't open to the internet. They're only reachable by verified identities.

Policy-driven access. Granted per identity, per service, not per network segment.

Built-in DDoS resilience. No identity, no meaningful interaction with the system.

So even if an attacker finds a vulnerability instantly and generates an exploit automatically, they still can't reach the service, establish a session, or exist as a trusted identity.

The model has to shift from "protect the system" to "control every interaction."

Mythos represents the acceleration of offense. ZTLP represents the containment of impact. Going forward, containment isn't optional - it's foundational.
