UPCOMING EGYPT & DUBAI TRIP
Dr Ron will be accompanied by Pastor Raymond Hardy. This is our pastor from Lighthouse World Outreach Center in Monroe, GA.
Ron was so excited that he could come this time. They will be going to the church in Cairo that Lighthouse gave such a generous gift to continue construction, along with Cubit’s help. With your support, Cubit is able to help them monthly for their widows. The church has started a widows program, and many widows have given their hearts to the Lord and are attending their church. We are going to continue to help other churches in Cairo and in the villages to take on this project. Cubit does give them the funding and the food from “God’s Widow’s Farm,” and they are starting to evangelize Cairo. Praise the Lord! THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT! I have said this many times, but it is true. YOU ARE WALKING WITH US, AND EVERY WIDOW WE FEED AND EVERY ORPHAN WE HELP, YOU ARE THERE WALKING BESIDE US! God bless you all!!!! THEY THANK YOU TOO!
A few weeks ago, Pastor Hardy spoke on “Finding your Purpose,” in I Kings 1 & 2.
1. What is your calling?
2. What is your Commitment?
3. What is your Success? Look not for your success in this world, but for your success in God. In any profession, you can be successful. You can be a teacher, farmer, builder, student, banker, garbage collector, retired, and so on. It doesn’t matter your profession, be a success for God. He will be with you always.
4. Purpose: I Kings 2:2,3 So be strong and prove yourself. Fulfill your obligation, walk in His path, keep His statutes, commandments, and His life-map. You will succeed in everything you do wherever you go.
God keeps His promises! God created you for His purpose. Use the gifts God gave you. But seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you. God bless you all! We love you and appreciate you!

UPDATE FROM BRAD CHARLES
I have been the director of Cubit’s Latin American efforts for more than twenty years, ministering from Mexico to Colombia, Ecuador, Guatemala, and Peru. I just returned from a great trip in Peru with my son, Cid. We celebrated his 18th birthday while hiking for six days on the ancient Inca trade trail from lower Peru to “The lost City of the Inca,” Machu Picchu. Local archeologists and historians claim the city was likely constructed in 1450 as an estate for the Inca emperor, Pachacuti. I'm not sure that’s necessarily true, but it was a cool place for me and my son to visit on his 18th birthday.
However, this trip was more than a vacation and more than a birthday present. Although Cubit had ministered in Peru several years ago, assisting indigenous people with the construction of sanitary facilities in some villages and distributing food, the areas were at a much lower elevation. They had a totally different indigenous population than the one we encountered on this trip. As we hiked, I felt in my heart that God wanted us to get involved with Peru again and to provide practical help and ministry for people in these mountains. So, I asked God to show me and to direct us to the right contacts who could open the doors to whomever God wanted us to help. He did not disappoint. He answered my prayer very quickly, with the two guides and six porters who traveled with us, who were from isolated indigenous Indian mountain villages. Most of those who live in these villages have very little, if any, contact with the outside world. I had the opportunity to talk to them about the Lord and discuss their villages, including their primary needs, and how we could help them both physically and spiritually. We then had the chance to pass through some of the mountain villages and saw firsthand the devastating poverty and the overall sad state in which the mountain villages existed. Although I immediately saw areas where we could help, I wanted to hear from them on what they felt were their greatest needs. They told me that there were three major needs where they needed help.
1). The children of the villages are required to go to school. So, they walk two hours every morning to get to their school and the same distance back every evening. No buses or cars can drive there. They do not have any school supplies. The school is too poor to provide the students with supplies; they can only dream about them. So, the major needs are pencils, paper, book bags, crayons and all that a student would need for school. They have nothing.
2). It is cold in the mountains, with rugged terrain, and most walk wherever they go, causing shoes, if they have any, to wear out quickly. Shoes are mandatory. But, because they are so poor, many do not have shoes or boots for winter.
3). Since it is cold most of the year, warm clothes, warm blankets and jackets are needed. Although the villagers raise alpaca, the fur from shearing them goes to buy food, leaving little, if any, money left to buy clothes, coats or blankets.
What Cubit has done throughout the world for the last 35 years, from Egypt, India, Sudan, Nepal, Mexico to Colombia, is to provide the needy people with practical help while at the same time telling and showing them the love of Jesus. So, not only do they hear about Jesus, but they see Him through us as we provide for their practical needs; AND YOU ARE ONE OF US!
One of the guides with whom I became close, Cesar, whose village is one of these that has such needs, will be making leadership contacts in the villages for us, so when I return, which will be soon, we can coordinate with these leaders and begin immediately to fulfill the three great needs of the villages. This opportunity was not by accident. In fact, I feel it was a direct answer to my prayer and, without a doubt, God’s directive.
PLEASE HAVE A HEART FOR PERU AND PLEASE PRAY FOR THEM! Please add 5 minutes a day for the villages in Peru and The Cubit Foundation as we follow His calling and go to all the world and preach the gospel.
Brad could use your help with the trip and with funding to buy the necessary materials when he arrives.
Thank you,
Brad Charles,
President of The Cubit Foundation

Happy Easter
You are never Alone, Jesus came to be with you until the end of the age. Matthew 28:20
Happy Easter from The Cubit Foundation! A look at Easter in America today is very different than when I grew up. Going to church on Easter was a big thing back then. I remember getting a new dress and looking forward to Sunday. My Mom was a great cook, and we always had lots of family over for Easter. We still had Easter eggs & candy, but it was not the main emphasis like it is today. Many of us have lost that custom in America.
Let’s think back, slow down, and have an old-timey Easter this year. This is a wonderful season of renewal. Just like the butterfly changes, the flowers bloom, and the trees bud, we too can have renewal in our lives. Thank Jesus for dying on the cross for our sins. He is there with us right now and will never leave us. Our widows in Egypt often ask us this question. “Is Jesus with me? Does He love me?” We reassure them that He is with them always and loves them. It is getting easier for them to believe, as Christianity is opening up in Egypt, but persecution is still alive, and many still do not know Jesus and His love. We can’t stop showing them the way to Christ and loving those little dirty faces, and hugging those hurt widows. All they need is Jesus and a little love from us. When we give them that Bag of Hope, you would think it was a bag of gold. But we give it in the name of Jesus. You can see in their eyes that they understand deep in their hearts. They might not accept Him right now, but they will one day, they will be able to celebrate Easter and believe.
HE IS RISEN!
For God so loved the world he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not
perish but have eternal life. John 3:16 NIV
REPORT FROM DR RON
Hello, Happy Easter! Since January of 2025, we have been very busy, not only with Cubit ministry activities but with the ongoing Middle East peace efforts. In January, our son, Ron Jr, and I traveled to Egypt for five objectives.
1). Purchase 5 acres we had been leasing next to God’s Widow’s Farm. The farm is now 15 acres and is deeded to Cubit!
2). Ron Jr stayed at the farm for 3 days discussing with the Rozzi family, on how best to utilize the farm, not only the raising of crops, but also livestock.
3). Reaching agreements with two associate churches in downtown Cairo, using their help to organize and distribute Bags of Hope to the Christian widows and orphans. They are blessed to have many widows attending their churches now. Praise the Lord!
4). Meet with churches in New Cairo, establishing widows and orphans help in the New Cairo area.
5). Meet with government officials to solidify our irreversible 45-year government guarantee promise with Cubit to function unhampered by the government, and to operate the God’s Widow’s Farm with full approval from the Ministry of Agriculture, Commerce, Interior, Humanitarian Operations, and Health. As well as approval from the Office of President Sisi. All five purposes and objectives were accomplished and resolved.
GOD IS GOOD!
Upon our return to the USA, Paula and I had a successful ministry trip in Texas, and we had our annual board meeting. In September 2024, I received word that my book, The Search, had reached bestseller status and had been included on the London University Best Sellers List. As such, we were invited to The London Book Fair, scheduled for March 2025 in London, UK. We were honored to accept the invitation. So, in March, Paula and I, along with Valerie, our Cubit bookkeeper, and her husband, Kevin Deutsch, one of our board members, traveled to London to participate in the book fair. We were blessed to have them helping us. Participation was by invitation only, and it is considered the most prestigious book fair in Europe. The fair was massive, with more than 50,000 people daily attending, and a total of over 200,000 during the four-day duration. We met hundreds of renowned authors, including Max Lucado, publishers, university presses, journalists, and media personnel. (I was interviewed on BBC TV and got a chance to talk about God’s Widow’s Farm and answer questions about Cubit.) Although the book fair was exciting, we took the opportunity to visit a few of the sites in London. The weather was terrible: rainy, cold, and windy. We all came back with bad colds and coughs. Nevertheless, we made numerous contacts interested in Cubit’s name, ministry, purpose, and what God is doing in Egypt, which spread to thousands.
Thank all of you for your prayers and support. It is God working through you that makes any and all ministry possible.
In Christ, Dr. Ron Charles
Brad’s Report:
In December 2024, I took Elijah, one of my crew, to Mexico to Big Heart Orphanage. They can always use some help, and it is great to reconnect with the Carter family. We believe in what they do. Big Heart now has three locations, helping children and showing them the love of Jesus. They have Big Heart of the mountains (Ramos Arizpe), this is where Gator & Deanna Carter are the Founders & Directors. The new location is at Matamoros with Antonio & Rosy Villasana as the directors. Reynosa is the original location, where Micha & Jennifer Carter are the directors. Brad and Elijah worked at the mountain campus with Gator, Micha, and the crew from Reynosa and Matamoros, building a roof to connect two classrooms together.
Your donations that are designated for Missions help me to reach out with construction and lend a hand to those in need. Big Heart Orphanage (the Carter family) is one of the organizations. Thank you for your help!
Brad Charles, President of The Cubit Foundation
“HOPE 139”, Brad’s crew, “Cid Carpentry” volunteered their time for two days, trimming the houses for the Hope 139 in March 2025. Below are some of the pictures of the four homes they worked on. They will have 12 when finished.
“Hope 139” Is a Athens, GA area home serving at-risk mothers and their children; providing housing, training, and provisions in a Christ-centered environment.
Brad, Cid, and his friend Ryan will be going to Peru this summer.
It has been several years since he has been there. Brad is reconnecting with old friends and doing some mission work again. The last time he was there, he built a restroom for a village. The school in town had no facilities, and it was very hard, especially for the girls. Brad is looking forward to being with them again and showing Cid and Ryan what a real mission trip is. If you have a heart for Peru, or an underdeveloped country, Brad could use your help for the trip and the material needed when he gets there. Please pray for them!
Ron Jr in Egypt
Ron Jr was happy to be in Egypt again. He really has a call to help Cubit, especially at the farm. Ron, Cheri, and Cyrus have had a large organic garden for years. They practice and believe in “farm to table living.”
At the end of this school year, Ron is retiring from teaching. They moved to a beautiful home on a ranch with a mountain. They are partnering with a family to run the ranch. Their whole family is involved on the ranch, with 200 heads of cows and goats. So, Ron has the heart and the knowledge to help “God’s Widows Farm.” He also has some great ideas to improve the farm financially, by birthing the cows and goats on site instead of buying them. It takes time to change the old process into the new, but Ron is willing to spend the time making it happen. Anything designated for the farm will help Ron raise more crops and have more livestock for the widows.
Ron Jr wants to thank you for your support!
