Happy Birthday Alice!!

Happy 78th birthday today to Vincent Damon Furnier, aka Alice Cooper, born February 4, 1948 in Detroit, Michigan! Cooper's career spans over five decades, and there's no indication he's slowing down any time soon. In fact, during an interview, last year, Cooper remarked "I look at Mick Jagger and he's on an 18-month tour and he's six years older than me, so I figure, when he retires, I have six more years. I will not let him beat me when it comes to longevity."

In 2011, the Alice Cooper Band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Cooper married his wife Sheryl Goddard on March 20, 1976, and besides a hiccup during the height of his alcoholism in late 1983, the couple have been inseparable ever since.
