Please help us welcome our new Fitness Director to the MAC family, Mara Brown! 💪🎉

Mara is originally from Holly Ridge, Louisiana, and earned her degree in Kinesiology from the University of Louisiana at Monroe. With 18 years of experience in personal training and group fitness, she’s passionate about helping people of all fitness levels build strength, confidence, and healthier lifestyles. She’s also a professional bodybuilder with 16 years of competitive experience, bringing a wealth of knowledge and motivation to every session.

When she’s not in the gym, you’ll find her spending time with her amazing husband and their three kids—two energetic boys and one sweet little girl.

Mara is excited to be part of the Monroe Athletic Club family and can’t wait to meet you! Whether you’re just beginning your fitness journey, getting back into a routine, or working toward a specific goal, she’s ready to help you every step of the way.

July is here, and we’re celebrating all things red, white, and YOU! Summer is in full swing at the MAC, and there’s no shortage of fun.
From tennis and pickleball to pool days, snow cones, delicious food, and great energy, there’s something for everyone.
