🛠️ Planning a home project? Now is the time to learn more about the City of Monroe Building Division's Free Permit Weeks! From May 18-31 and August 3-16, 2025, property owners/contractors can apply to have building/zoning permit fees waived.

🚨 IMPORTANT: All fees are collected up front and will be refunded as long as the following criteria is met:

- Projects valued at $20,000 or less
- Included projects: roofing, siding, windows, fences, decks and more
- Final approval needed within 90 days
- Contractor/property owner submits a request for a refund

🚫 Note: Application fees are non-refundable. Homeowners can get up to 5 permits, contractors up to 3.
