Playing For Purrs

Thanks to everyone for their prayers. Purrince was back home last night after being such a good boy for the ER vet staff. They did an x-ray and found a lot of inflammation in his lungs and bronchioles. They also saw that his heart was enlarged so they did a cardiac enzyme test to check his heart to ensure that they could give him the proper treatment for what they think is Asthma. Luckily his cardiac enzymes came out good or they would not have been able to treat him with steroids.
They gave him medication there and then also sent me home with a couple of meds to give him for the next week or two.

When we left his breathing still was the same as when we arrived… But it did calm back down his breathing is back to normal.

Prayers being requested for my sweet Purrince today. He seemed to be in respiratory distress when I came in to feed this morning. No local vets open had ability to see him. Roanoke ER was a 4-6 hour wait time. Just arrived and will have to wait and see what the ER Vet says.
