Entry level position for a motivated, team player looking to learn a trade. Must be comfortable on roofs and ladders with a mechanical aptitude and carpentry skills. You will not be laying shingles. You will be learning how to repair leaks caused when shingles are not installed properly. You will learn flashing details, how to remove and install skylights, chimney repairs, and what causes roof leaks and how to fix them.

This is full-time, year-round employment with opportunities for advancement with an established, growing company with an excellent reputation and large client base. Must have a valid Virginia Drivers License with an acceptable driving record and be able to pass a criminal background check.

Immediate hire for experienced roofing mechanic to work on our residential roof repair crew. Job consists of diagnosing and resolving issues with water leaks at chimneys, skylights, and improperly installed roofing systems. A minimum of 3 years experience in shingles, slate, and cedar shake roofing is required. Experience with standing seam metal roofs and rubber membrane roofing a plus! The ideal candidate will be a motivated, team player with a passion for excellence, a mechanical aptitude, and carpentry/construction skills.
