This year the Monahans Volunteer Fire Department along with the Barstow Volunteer Fire Department, Wickett Volunteer Fire Department, Pyote Volunteer Fire Department and Grandfalls Volunteer Fire Department are hosting the Permian Basin District State Firemen’s and Fire Marshal’s Association spring convention! Where we hold our district meeting to find out new legislation updates and news from the State office and hold Pumper races and do a dinner for everyone. It’s a great way for all of the other fire departments in the Permian Basin to get together to network and hangout with eachother. We need some community to support from Yall! We are looking for some door prizes or momentary donations to help offset the cost of this event. If you or your buisness would like to help out( we’re looking for company hats, coozies, notepads, coolers, small tool sets, gift certificates for local businesses etc) your help would be greatly appreciated.
