Float Quad Cities

We use the strongest sanitation system currently available for float tanks (pictured below.)

The reverse osmosis water/epsom salt solution is filtered after every client through an NSF certified 1 micron bag filter, which is NSF 50 and FDA compliant for drinking water (Class 1 Filtration). Standard competitor pool and spa filter cartridges only filter to 20-30 microns and require regular cleaning.

The float water is also sanitized with UV light and ozone. Each float room are topped off with fresh water and epsom salt on a weekly basis as needed.

We also keep a hydrogen peroxide residual in the water as an additional oxidizer/sanitizer. On top of that, the high salt content makes the float tank solution naturally inhospitable to pathogens.

Hydroxyl radicals (•OH) are the most powerful oxidation agents available, quickly destroying bacteria, viruses, pathogens and other contaminants that occur in water. Hydroxyl radicals also destroy chlorine and bromine resistant microorganisms, such as Cryptosporidium Parvum, Giardia and E.Coli. UV + O3 + H2O2 = Peroxone AOP"

She came in yesterday in significant pain. Kept shifting around in the float cabin trying to find a position that didn't hurt her shoulder. Tough float, honestly.

Today: "I feel 10x better today than I did yesterday."

This is the part nobody tells you about floating. It's not always instantly blissful. Sometimes you're in pain. Sometimes you spend the whole hour adjusting positions. And it still works.

The float doesn't need you to be relaxed or your mind to be quiet to do its job. It just needs the magnesium and the time.
