When it comes to making compost, I like to keep things simple. I know that there is "technically" more to it than what I discussed in the video, but also not really! When I'm composting, I don't worry about ratios of browns to greens or what you shouldn't compost (blah blah blah). It's throwing stuff in a pile and letting it rot. That's seriously it. I'm also not overly concerned with making sure it ages the exact proper amount or watering it or any of those things. 🤷🏻‍♀️ You don't need a tumbler, you don't need a pallet system, etc. Feel free to throw things on the ground in a pile & add to it as you can! Food scraps, pieces of cardboard, animal manure, shredded paper, coffee and filters, etc. Turn every once in a while to help it break down evenly, and voila! You have a compost pile! ☺️ My old Gorilla Cart was VERY well loved, so my new one is going to come in super handy for this! The GCG-7, with its 7 cu ft capacity and heavy-duty poly construction, is perfect for hauling materials for compost. It makes the process effortless, and I’m sure it’ll last for years.
