What if Jesus would say to you:

Where have My heralds gone?
Why are they silent?
I see you and you perform
Yes, act well the part.

Not a leader among you,
To blow My horn of alarm
To sound the trumpet
As the enemy devours My people.

HOLY SPIRIT AT PENTECOST

In quiet splendor
I wait for the wand of sparkling life
To again touch me silently
Yes, the Holy Spirit always keeps me.

Can I describe it to others?
Will the words come to share?
Oh, the glory of the moment
When the Holy Spirit visits?

The euphoria of it, so grand,
Seek it with all your heart,
Be humble and meek before Him,
And quietly await, His gentle touch.

Hope is help,
In a world full of uncertainty.
Hope is peace
In troubled waters.

Yet, Christian Hope is more
Than help in mere existence,
It is a candle
Burning in the darkness.

In our twenties
Our Hope lies
In the strength of our bodies
Which seem eternal.
