Focha Aquatics

Hello, I would like to introduce myself. I am a swim instructor at Focha Aquatics. I have been teaching for about 19 years. I teach all levels and ages. My swim background is extensive; I have been a competitive swimmer since age 6, I have coached masters swimming, taught water aerobics/water therapy, I am currently a swim coach for Modesto Mavericks, and Turlock Aquatics Club. Growing up I swam competitively year round, dove spring board for 10 years, and water polo for 6 years.

I am also a mom to an 11 year old, who is officially taller than me. 😅 She is also on Modesto Mavericks swim team. When I’m not in the water or coaching I am busy working out, driving around to various activities, enjoying the outdoors, and traveling.

As an adult I was diagnosed with ADHD, I have found it’s a super power… especially working with kids. My mind is creative, finds multitasking easy, and my brain needs to stay busy.

Hello everyone! Hopefully everyone survived the couple of weeks of triple digit weather. 😅

This is the last 2 week session I have available before school starts. My schedule is almost full. If you havnt signed up for lessons yet this summer, time is running out.

I will continue to teach when I get home from camping but after school times will be limited!

It’s been a few years since I have updated anything on my business page. I plan on utilizing this page regularly this summer. A few new updates:

⚫️ I am teaching in Modesto, some of you have been with me since I taught in Denair.
⚫️ My friends have graciously offered their pool to me, and it’s near Prescott and Snyder.
⚫️ I am teaching in a heated pool. 😃
⚫️ Swim lessons can start comfortably in May, and extend through the fall becuase of the pool being warm.
⚫️ I am currently coaching for Modesto Mavericks summer swim team April-July so swim lessons are during these months are offered mornings-late afternoon.

I believe my last post was summer 2020. A few things have changed, if I forgot to include any I will update later ☺️
