Hire Up Staffing is partnering with a trusted manufacturing client in Hayward to find a skilled Grinder for a full-time, temp-to-hire role. If you’re detail-oriented and experienced with precision tools, this is a great opportunity to join a stable team with long-term potential!

💵 Pay: $21.00 – $23.00/hr
📅 Schedule: Monday – Friday, 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
📍 Location: Hayward, CA

🔧 Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain grinding machines to finish parts and materials
- Use measuring tape to verify dimensions and ensure accuracy
- Perform precision measurements with micrometers and calipers (preferred)
- Inspect materials and finished products for quality and consistency
- Follow work orders, blueprints, and safety protocols
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace

✅ What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience operating grinders or similar machinery (preferred)
- Strong measuring tape skills
- Familiarity with micrometers and calipers (a plus)
- Ability to read and interpret measurements accurately
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to lift up to [insert lbs] and stand for extended periods
- Reliable, safety-minded, and a team player
