🚨 DUI Arrest by the Nava Brothers 🚨

When it comes to keeping our roads safe, teamwork makes all the difference.

Early this morning, Officers Nava and Nava made a traffic stop and after speaking with the driver, observed signs of impairment. After a thorough investigation, the driver was determined to be under the influence and was arrested for DUI.

Driving impaired puts everyone at risk, including yourself, your passengers, and everyone else sharing the road. One bad decision can change someone’s life…..forever.

This morning, CHP was back at it with speed enforcement on SR-99 in north Stanislaus County. With less drivers commuting on weekends the freeway looks wide open, but the speed limit doesn’t change.

Remember, the speed limit is 65 MPH on SR-99 in Stanislaus County. Excessive and unsafe speed is the most common reason for crashes. Slow down and make good choices.

“Too dangerous to respond.”

When a stranded motorist was told roadside assistance could not respond due to the location, Officer Fowles and Officer Ayala stepped in to help.

After making sure the scene was safe, Officer Fowles and Officer Ayala changed the tire and got the driver back on the road safely.

Remember, if you experience a breakdown, move as far off the roadway as possible, turn on your hazard lights, and stay alert to passing traffic. A few extra safety precautions can make a big difference.
