What are you reading?

I finished Whistler, Ann Patchett's newest novel, and please excuse me while I am slow to emerge from this book coma. I absolutely loved it. These are characters I could have stayed with forever, and Eddie Triplett/Daphne Fuller's stepfather/stepdaughter relationship was so good, I may have cried a few times. (Has anyone else read this yet?)

Now I'm reading I Will Greet the Sun Again by Khashayar J. Khabushani for the Bee Book Club on 6/16 and also The Littlest Bigfoot by Jennifer Weiner (such a sweet middle grade tale). - Paula

It's our first ever kids' audiobook paint night! Thursday, June 25th from 6:30pm-8:30pm!

We're listening to Opal Watson: Private Eye and have kid-friendly paint kits on hand. Parents are welcome to buy a ticket for themselves, too!

The $15 cost includes all supplies, and no actual painting skills are required. These paint by number kits are fun and the perfect craft for a casual young artist.

We can't wait to see you there!
