No, but it's a damn good comparison for training them.

The hole in the donut? Thatโ€™s the part of the tendon that's wreckedโ€”itโ€™s not coming back. But the rest of the donut? Thatโ€™s your healthy, functioning tendon tissue.

When you stop exercising and your tendon becomes weaker, the hole in the donut becomes bigger and bigger. Effectively making the donut seem smaller and smaller.

But guess what? Just like muscle, tendons can grow. And they ๐˜ค๐˜ณ๐˜ข๐˜ท๐˜ฆ time under tension!
