Today marks the closing of our June exhibitions, Jubilee and Proud & Free.

Thank you to every artist who submitted work and sharing your creativity, and unique perspective. Your art sparked conversations, encouraged understanding, and reminded us of the power of creative expression to bring people together.

June was filled with creativity beyond our gallery walls. Alongside these exhibitions, we hosted a Crochet Workshop, Cell Phone Photography 101, a Float Prop Masterclass, and unveiled the brand-new MobTown Mural Festival. Every event reflected the incredible talent, collaboration, and energy of our arts community.

We are deeply grateful to the partners who made this month possible, including Kristin Rager, sponsor of Proud & Free; Erica Wells, sponsor of Jubilee; the Alabama Folklife Association; Miss Juneteenth; Mobile Botanical Gardens; and all of our teaching artists who generously shared their knowledge and talents.

Here's to carrying this same spirit of creativity, collaboration, and community through the rest of 2026. We can't wait to welcome you to our next exhibition, our annual Members' Show, and the many exciting programs still to come.
