New harp Ríoga 32 made from pomelle hardwood, such a gorgeous, rippling figured, nut brown wood.

New harp build, first dry fitting of all the main parts. She is rather matte now, but when varnished she should have ripples (chatoyance) as you look at the wood grain!

After catastrophe, repair, and restringing, the purple harp rises from the ashes of despair to sing… at least the soundboard came out really nice on this one!

Prepping for vending at the upcoming Harp Gathering this may in Ohio, so I’m making a new Ríoga 32 out of Sapele Pomelle; she is coming together nicely so far!
