“And now we’re supposed to feel bad about eating almonds? Let’s not be fooled into blaming people who like almond milk for killing bees. Let’s place the responsibility where it belongs. Pesticides kill bees. Glyphosate, the main ingredient in Roundup, kills bees. Monsanto, a company owned by Bayer, who makes and sells Roundup, kills bees. (Roundup also causes cancer in humans.)”
Almond Trees Aren’t Killing Bees; Pesticides And Corporate Greed Are It seems like almost everyone I know started feeling guilty over almond milk since a rash of headlines blaming almonds, and by association, everyone who eats almonds, for killing billions of honeybees.
