Faith Academy - Rams

Lakenn Hilliard was chosen to represent Faith Academy at Alabama Girls State recently. Girls State is a week-long, hands-on learning opportunity for some of the best and brightest young women in the State of Alabama. During the Girls State program, delegates have the opportunity to learn about local and state government through a variety of speakers, workshops, and break out sessions. The objectives of this program are:
* To develop leadership and pride in American citizens.
* To educate citizens about our system of government.
* To instill a greater understanding of American traditions.
* To stimulate a desire to maintain our democratic government processes within our republic.
