J.D Vance served 4 years as a full time Marine and was deployed overseas to IRAC. Thats 1,460 days of continuous service.

Hell. of my 2,920 days on active duty, I served in Vietnam for 30 months. Thats as long as Waltz served on active duty in 24 years unless he was called to active duty other than when his unit was called up on active duty to IRAC but did not go with them because he could conveniently retire.

I Love American History.
It was probably my best subject in my junior year of HS. However, just to make sure my memory was correct, I looked some facts up and came to the conclusion that waiting an average of 5 years for the privilege of becoming an American citizen is no big deal.

Compare that to the immigrants from Europe who crossed an ocean (not a border) to escape persecution in 1620 and whose descendants, 156 years later had to fight a war that lasted 7 years 04/19/1775 - 09/03/1783 to become Americans.
