Mobile Witches Ride

The Mobile Witches Ride is the major fundraiser for Delta Dogs, a local non-profit dedicated to providing free spay/neuter and veterinary care to the pets of people in need. The 6th Annual Mobile Witches Ride will take place on Sunday, October 30th. We challenge you to get your best, most fabulous witches costume together and hop on your broom (aka your bicycle - yeah decorate that, too!) for a fun, slow paced 3-mile ride around downtown Mobile and DeTonti Square. The ride will end with a fabulous block party with music, libations, and food from local food trucks and our party hosts, The Blind Mule. Your ticket includes access to the street party, an event t-shirt and one free b**r. Food and and additional beverages will be for sale through the onsite vendors. Prizes for best dressed Witch and Warlock will be happening, too! All of this fun benefits a good cause - Delta Dogs, a local non-profit that helps provide free spay/neuter and veterinary services to the pets of Mobile's community in need.
**Event Details**

Note: This an 18+ ride. No child riders, towed trailers with children, or babies in front or rear seats will be allowed due to the nature of the event (costumes, 100s of riders, etc.) and for Witch and Warlock safety. Hello Witches! It’s our day to fly! Your coven has conjured up absolutely gorgeous weather. 🌞 Please read the info below for very important reminders about today’s 10th Anniversary Mobile Witches Ride:
1. Don’t have a ticket? You can sign up in person starting at 3:30pm at the event. Please bring $35 cash or use Venmo/Paypal to help keep the brooms moving witchingly fast.
2. Just want to watch? This is a family friendly event and everyone is invited to watch along the route (map in comment) or a join the Braided River Brewing Co. watch party at St. Louis and Lawrence.
3. In addition to your free ticket b**r, witches and guests can purchase additional b**r thanks to our sponsors The Blind Mule, Bud Busch Distributing, and Braided River Brewing Co. The fastest way to pay is using CASH at the outside bar!
4. SAFETY CHAT! **This is a bike ride, and no motorized vehicles or golf carts are allowed to join the ride.** You will see many police officers on their motorized brooms at the event. There will be zero tolerance by MPD for gold carts on the route. Thank you for observing this and keeping everyone safe! Clarification: electric and pedal assist bicycles are allowed in the ride as long as they stay on pace.
5. If you are mobility challenged, and want to participate today, please send us a DM because we can always safely accommodate you on the ride.
6. Remember to secure your hats for the ride! A little breeze can lift them into the air and send you flying back to retrieve it.
7. We are taking a slightly different route to accommodate the construction on St. Louis. The ride will continue on St. Antony to Lawrence, then take a right on St. Michael to connect with Washington. Our expert witch ride leaders will show you the way, so no need for concern. Map in first comment!
We can't wait to see you, Witches! Please DM us with any questions.
Remember, all proceeds from this event support mobiledeltadogs, which provides free veterinary care and spay/neuter to the pets of people in need in the Mobile community. 🥰 🐕 🐈
