OPC Serve Team

What a night! 🙌

Tonight, we celebrate the faithfulness of God and the opportunity to serve our community.

Through His provision and the generosity of so many, we:

🚿 provided 50+ showers
🍽️ served 250 meals/sandwiches
👟 gave away 110 pairs of brand new shoes at our 2nd Soul to Sole Giveaway

Every shower, every pair of shoes, and every meal was more than a practical need met. It was an opportunity to share the love of Christ and remind people that they are seen, valued, and loved.

Thank you to every volunteer, donor, and partner who made tonight possible. Most of all, we thank the Lord for allowing us to be His hands and feet in our community. 🍽️🚿👟

A special thank you to one of our business partners, Newman's Ambulance, for providing CPR certification training for members of the Oak Park Serve Team.

We are grateful for your investment in our volunteers and for helping equip us to better serve others. As we prepare to better serve our community, this training helps us be prepared to respond with both knowledge and care when needs arise.

Every Friday, Showering Hope rolls out to provide showers, dignity, and hope to our unhoused neighbors. We believe serving others is one of the greatest ways we can share the love of Christ and make a tangible impact in our community.
