Was able to get out for a few hours Halloween morning and it did not disappoint!

SIGHT FISHING - DOUBLED UP ON REDFISH It's rare to double up on redfish, especially sight fishing! Enjoy!

This reel had no problem handling the redfish!

Trying to get it done on the river today but my new St. Croix Avid inshore rod took a hit! Happened on a side sweep hook set and the top of the rod hit the trolling motor. I hear St. Croix has a great warranty . Luckily I registered this rod when I first got it and turns out this particular model has a 15 year warranty! On a side note, I missed the fish 🤣 😭 😭

It’s been months since I’ve been on the water but today I got a chance to go out and fish! We dodged some lightning in the process but managed a keeper flounder and red. Kept it simple, just threw a Zman slam shady paddle tail on a 1/4 jig head along the w**d lines. It was good being back in the water, although it was for a few hours.
