We don't mean to brag, but, we're going to. Dr. Carole Zangari will present a phenomenal session at MontCOMM '26! Dr. Zangari is a rock star in the world of alternative ways to communicate. She's the creator of the PrAACtical AAC Supports blog, co-author of an online training for AAC and Autism, co-editor of Practically Speaking Language, Literacy, and Academic Development for Students with AAC Needs, co-author of the "Tell Me" series... etc.
Dr. Zangari's live, online session will cover activities to increase a person's use of their device, build confidence with multiple communication partners, and expand skills beyond one-word requests.

Sensory-friendly morning at the Billings fair on August 11th (Tuesday), 10 am-noon! Wrist bands and admission tickets must be arranged in advance, so please follow the instructions below carefully and ASAP! Montana, if YOUR county fair or carnival is making effort to be inclusive, please message MonTECH so we can spread the word.
📢 Attention Families & Individuals Interested in Sensory-Friendly Morning at MontanaFair:
As we continue planning for this year's event, we're working closely with our local organizations to help distribute the limited number of Sensory-Friendly Morning wristbands and complimentary fair admission tickets.
If you are currently connected with a participating organization (such as a school, therapy provider, residential program, nonprofit, or service agency), please work directly with that organization for your request. They will be submitting requests on behalf of the individuals they serve.
If you are NOT affiliated with an organization, we still want to hear from you!
Please send me a private message or email me at [email protected] and I'll provide you with the individual request form.
Thank you for your patience, understanding, and support as we work to make MontanaFair welcoming and accessible for everyone. 💙🎡

Check out Upsee Mobility harness! No, really. Check it out and we'll send it to you so you can try it with your child with motor challenges. ♥ Upsee comes with an adult hip belt, child harness, and shared sandals so a child who is not independently walking can walk, dance and play with their parent.
Upsee is free for Montanans to borrow through our equipment library. You do need an occupational therapist, physical therapist, or doctor to sign a short approval form for use. Upsee is appropriate for kids ages 1-5. MonTECH has all four sizes. Your therapist can help recommend the right size using this chart:https://www.spinlife.com/files/size%20chartg.pdf
