Since being in Alaska, I’ve been surrounded by lush magical forests with bright green moss blanketing the forest floor and lichen seemingly dripping from the sky. Then you look out to the bay that is framed by giant snow covered peaks, which seen in the moonlight and green aurora glow truly creates the most stunning landscape I think I’ve ever seen. The blend of giant jagged mountains, lush forests and sea is truly inspiring. But this landscape, it holds this eerie, almost creepy essence that makes me fall in love with it that much more. I’ve always been drawn to the strange juxtaposition of beautiful and creepy. Yep. Beautifully creepy.

The art I’ve been creating up here encompasses both the dark forests and sea ….and here’s the first finished piece!
