In this job you will be creating Knowledge Articles that will be used to support our help desk team as well as self-help articles that our user base can access. The articles can contain dynamic content such as video demonstration, screen capture of processes, guided instruction for end-users as well as identifying issue trends, researching solutions, and documentation of team process/procedure.

A percentage of the time may be spent helping fellow associates with computer/software-related issues via desk visit or by answering calls.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identifying top technical issues
- Documenting issues and creating the knowledge articles
- Screenshot capture
- Video narration and video editing
- Supporting end-users with some technical issues

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
“REQUIRED”
- 50 to 60+ WPM
- Prior Information Technology issue/resolution documentation
- Proficient using Microsoft Windows 10, Microsoft Word, etc
- Intermediate time management skills
- Working within a team as well as independently

“PREFERRED”
- Microsoft Style Guide writing experience
- BMC Helix Smart IT Knowledge Base experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint
- Technical phone support experience
