It may not always look or sound like traditional reading, but for toddlers, reading often begins with pictures. Pictures tell stories, spark curiosity, and help little ones describe what’s happening, building the foundation for independent reading. At BBLA, our students practice “reading” by exploring books and describing the stories in their own words. This everyday activity helps children develop a love for reading, gain confidence, and celebrate every milestone along the way. Reading together and celebrating progress makes learning fun and meaningful! 🐝💛
