✨The energy in the room was electric. The talent was over the top, the music had everyone dancing, and the entire night was filled with joy, culture and connection.

It was such an honor to once again host the 16th Annual Rhythms of Africa: Run Di Riddim. I have had the privilege of hosting this event many times over the years, and it is always an honor to be invited back and be in the room celebrating the culture that raised me.

Years ago, I had the pleasure of introducing a@d to and history was made! This weekend, seeing those students on stage once again was one of those beautiful full-circle moments that reminds you that God can use anyone.

As a former teacher, there is nothing better than sharing the spotlight with the next generation of leaders and musicians. My heart is full. 🖤💚💛❤️

💔 Our community is once again shaken by a heartbreaking act of domestic violence.

Coral Springs Vice Mayor was one of the kindest souls I’ve ever known. She was a true champion for her community, and her light filled every room she entered.

I’m devastated to know she was taken from us so tragically.

Nancy, thank you for your courage, your strength, your support, and your advocacy. You will be missed more than words can express.
