Kindergarten Readiness Starts at the Lunch Table!

At The Learning Tree, we believe preparing children for kindergarten goes beyond letters and numbers—it includes building independence and confidence during everyday routines.

By serving meals family-style, children practice important kindergarten-ready skills such as:

• Carrying and managing their own plates
• Serving themselves appropriate portions
• Waiting patiently for their turn
• Using manners and communicating their needs
• Cleaning up after themselves
• Making choices and gaining independence

These simple moments help children develop responsibility, self-help skills, and confidence that will serve them well when they head off to kindergarten. We're proud to create opportunities every day for our little learners to grow both academically and socially.

Baby on a mission!

Our little learner was hard at work stacking blocks today! Block play helps build fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, problem-solving abilities, and spatial awareness. It also encourages patience, concentration, and early math concepts like size, balance, and cause-and-effect. Every tower is a big step in growing young minds!
