BUFFALO! LASERS! TOURISM! MAX! 💥
The North Dakota Travel Industry Conference was held in Minot this year - every year they get a different hometown artist to create the special awards to be presented by the Governor - and in front of all the movers and the shakers making our great state great. Long story longer - I was asked to make the 2025 awards!!!
This was a huge honor for me - thank you for the ask. Very humbled to be making these prestigious little dudes for such inspiring people!
Anyhoo - this was the award! Got to jump into the unknown of woodcut, lasers - painting wood - 3D - plaques - glue - and everything in my design back pocket.
Love how they turned out. Going to venture into this 3D world a little more - it was pretty cool. Dabbled in making some fish and little wheat things. So many possibilities!?!??
Anyhoo - congrats to all the winners! Another feather in the cap was our “Why Not Minot?” Project was nominated!
I love art and trying new stuff out…thanks people for trusting me. I’m going to go laser more things now!

WHY NOT!?!?! MINOT!!! My heart is very full.
Minot is my hometown - born and raised - homebase for me and my lovely family - and I am always amazed at this community - and just very very proud to call this home. So this project was very dear to my heart.
I am very honored to have been able to reimagine and relaunch our hometown slogan and work on this campaign celebrating the Minot spirit.
I got to create this funky new logo - create animations for a very cool campaign launch video made by - you can check it out - ALSO - got to help create a new campaign with our city “vibe” - SISU - Scandinavian roots and Finnish word for basically: “we make the best of what we get” if it’s snowing outside we go sled - so fun. AND I got to make a HUGE mural downtown - dream job come true.
These are the behind the scenes and test footage and a bunch of fun stuff I made to help create the project.
Love Minot - love our community- glad to have our slogan back! Thanks for trusting me on this project! I hope I made Minot proud! AND remember - the question is the answer - WHY NOT MINOT?

Very honored to have one of my favorite (and fan favorite) prints land, swim, skate to the front cover of HEART RIVER VOICE magazine! This is a neat little publication out of Western ND - and they did a lovely feature on all the artsy stuff I’m up to. Very cool - my mom is very proud of me!

NEW YEAR - SAME ME!
Ha. S**e - lots of new stuff going on, BUT - last year was a good one and going to keep on hustling and keep on keep’n on and just do my thing.
NEW YEAR - NEW STUDIO - spent a nice little digital holiday break and created a nice little space for myself in our basement. Found lots of fun collections and treasures in my mess… now on full display!
Big plan this year is to make more art for myself - I have a year’s worth of projects in the works already, but a goal is to make some original art for me…very excited - going to try all sorts of mediums and styles and just try and have some fun…I feel like it will help my creativity and help my big contract projects too! Same funky good vibes art though…just less pressure I hope!?
