Hello Ward County 4-H Horse Project Families and Club Leaders:

Is your youth planning to participate in the North Dakota State Fair (NDSF) 4-H HORSE Show? (Please note: Cloverbuds are not eligible to exhibit at the NDSF.)

If so, please complete the following steps:

1. Submit the NDSF 4-H Horse Exhibit Entry Form
Deadline: 4 pm on Friday, June 26
Submit to the Ward County Extension Office by:
o In person: 900 13th Street SE, Minot

o Fax: 701-838-3438

Important reminders:
• One entry form is required per youth
• You may wish to bring a copy of your submitted entry form with you State Fair check-in
• If you have already submitted your form, thank you!

Open Horse Show Reminder
If you intend to participate in any Open Horse Shows at the NDSF, you must register separately through the State Fair.
Please remember:
• Registering for the Open Show does not register you for the 4-H Horse Show.
• Registering for the 4-H Show through the Ward County Extension Office does not register you for any Open Shows.

2. Submit the NDSF Horse Vehicle Tow Pass & Stall Reservation Form (emailed 06/23/2026 4:19 pm). This form is submitted directly to the North Dakota State Fair and requires an Extension Agent signature.

3. Planning to Camp? If you plan to camp during the State Fair, please submit the NDSF Exhibitor Camping Form (emailed 06/23/2026 4:19 pm) directly to the North Dakota State Fair.

4. State Fair Horse Show Check-In
All 4-H horse exhibitors are required to check in on:

• Sunday, July 19
• Noon to 6 pm
• 4-H Office in Executive Suites (located in the NDSF Center across from FFA Hall)
• Please bring a copy of your submitted entry form with you to check-in.
