Frontier Meats Minot

Let’s meet another member of our small team!

Jay has been cutting meat and working in the grocery industry since the 1980s. We are so lucky that he has decided to join us and share his experience and knowledge. He’s a huge reason we are able to do this! When we say we are a family run business, we really are. Most days we will have 3 generations working in the building to produce quality products for our community.

Now that the news is out let us introduce ourselves!

We are Joshua and Emily Clauson!
Joshua is a third generation meat cutter. He started working for his dad, grinding hamburger when he was only 8 years old! Emily grew up raising animals and selling products at Farmer’s Markets. We love agriculture and we are so excited to share a little bit of what we love to our community through this business.

We have had lots of questions, and they will all be answered on here over the next few weeks. There is lots to share!

Opening soon in Minot!

Frontier Meats is a butcher shop just outside of Minot, and we are so excited to be opening soon! We will have lots to offer and will post more details soon but here’s a peek into what we will have:

Custom livestock (cattle, hogs, sheep and goats) and wild game processing.

Commercial kitchen where we will be making fresh baked goods, jellies, canned goods and more!

Retail store featuring fresh-cut meats, smoked products, goodies from our kitchen, along with the best products from other ND producers!

We will also have individual cuts of our home raised, grass-fed beef available in store. All raised by us or our partners. Lots more to come on this!

We can’t wait for construction to finish up so we can start providing local food choices to the Minot area!
