Not tarantulas but I thought you guys may appreciate this, some macro shots of Lucihormetica subcincta the Glowspot roach. First six pics are the male next six are the female. In the wild these will feed on a bioluminescent glowing fungi and the spots on the males pronatum will actually glow as a result, the spots are actually very thin areas of the exoskeleton that allow the underlying tissue color to show through. In captivity you can get this fungus to make them glow or you can play with the colors a bit with diet, carrots give a more intense orange, beets will give a more red color etc etc. Really nifty species.
