Peripheral neuropathy is more than just numbness or tingling in your hands and feet. It's a sign that the nerves responsible for sensation, movement, or function aren't communicating the way they should.
Patients often describe burning, pins and needles, sharp pain, weakness, or feeling like they're walking on cotton. These symptoms can gradually worsen over time and start affecting balance, sleep, and everyday activities.
There isn't a one-size-fits-all cause. Diabetes is one of the most common, but neuropathy can also be associated with vitamin deficiencies, spinal conditions, autoimmune disorders, medication side effects, previous injuries, and other underlying health conditions.
The first step is determining why the nerves are being affected. A thorough evaluation helps identify contributing factors and guides the most appropriate treatment plan.
The goal isn't simply managing symptoms—it's improving function, supporting nerve health, and helping patients maintain their mobility and quality of life.

Plantar fasciitis is one of the most common causes of heel pain I see in practice.
Most people notice it with those first few steps out of bed in the morning, but the real issue is often a combination of mobility restrictions, foot mechanics, tissue overload, and activity demands.
The good news is that plantar fasciitis is very treatable when you address the underlying cause instead of just chasing symptoms.
