What’s Textile Center’s Garden to Dye For?
It’s s a living educational and creative resource that proudly cultivates, harvests, and fosters understanding of natural dye plants! Combining beauty and function, this perennial garden wraps around the southwest and west sides of the building, nurturing plants used to create natural dyes for textiles. It serves as a living, breathing element in the process of creating fiber art. 🌸

🩸 We're hosting a Blood Drive at Textile Center next week!

Textile Center is partnering up with the American Red Cross to host a blood drive in our auditorium. In January 2026, the American Red Cross declared a severe national blood shortage.

Please consider joining us on Friday, May 29, to donate blood and save a life! And, the American Sewing Guild will be hosting a stitching demonstration that day, so we can spend time together in this amazing space and in community while giving back.

Before or after donating, take a walk through our galleries and see our two exhibits featuring distinguished Dakota and Anishinaabe artists in 𝑴𝒏𝒊 𝑺𝙤́𝒕𝒂: 𝑻𝒓𝒂𝒅𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔 & 𝑰𝒏𝒏𝒐𝒗𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝙨 and emerging Two-Spirit Native artists in 𝑻𝑾𝑶-𝑺𝑷𝑰𝑹𝑰𝑻 𝑺𝑻𝑶𝑹𝑰𝑬𝑺.
