I am on the back end of suffering from Functional Thoracic Outlet Syndrome. It’s no damn joke. I lost all my upper body strength AND it fricking hurts!! My left shoulder was compressed. I’m so pleased with Dr Clary’s work on my shoulder. 🙏🏼I have been dedicated to fixing it. My sage advise please don’t take your strength for granted. Gotta fight for it sometimes. It’s cool on the Left now I have more range in shoulder flexion than my Right now. How have I been getting strong? I haven’t done it by myself. Thanks to many spring/summer pilates with , a visit with one of the founders of , and weekly visits with at and my own stubbornness, determination and consistency moving in the right direction. Guess what? All non conventional ways of healing...

I spy with my little eye Lola the mutt amongst my favorite props. If you’ve taken my classes before you know I dig the props! 🙌🏼🙌🏼 I have the or , (although I prefer a medium hard roller) inflatable ball set on squishy and variety of trigger point and myofascial release balls, my beat up , step-stools of various heights, cushy , 1/2 foam roller, , not pictured is a 24” closet rod. Things to use while at home, but I tell you this about doing pilates from home ..I prefer IN PERSON pilates classes and lessons for myself as well as teaching them by far-hands down! I’ll Zoom around with my classes for now, but man I miss being around a group in person. I learn and connect from clients and teachers alike by being in proximity to them. This social distancing is testing my innate primate needs of a . 🦍🦧🐵

When you can’t meet the forces or gravity easily these props bring ease of gravity to you! No sense forcing the force!✌🏼❤️ 9.8 meters squared! 🤟🏼🤓Stay tuned for pilates uses for these items...

The Neighborhood. Grew up here..Lived in this area 17 yrs. . The anguish is palpable..so is the love. People are done. There really is a limit to what one person, family, friends, community, city, state, country, world and race can take. The limit has been met.

Behold!!! The Parasympathetic-ENATOR...🤩🌈🌟Why do I lay on this? Because it’s comfortable. This blue friend holds me up as gravity pushes down. My other friend is the floor. It’s like a big plumb line hand 🖐 holding me up. I can relax into the ground. It’s also nice to be guided through a session using a ball like this ..seek out a session with me!! You need however long that you need in terms of time spent down regulating your nervous system breathing and doing exercises. It’s in charge, not your ego. Make peace with that. There’s no rush, but there’s no time to waste either.
