As Seen on the Green: ⛳️ The 30th Annual Minnesota American Indian Bar Association (now Minnesota Native America Bar Association) Scholarship Golf Tournament was Thursday, July 9 at Mystic Lake, and Minnesota CLE was a proud sponsor! We sent three attorneys, (l-r), Owais Ahmed, Tim Morrow and Luke Olson, and were joined by Magistrate Judge Leo Brisbois to fill our foursome.🏌️

At today's From Arrest to Sentencing: Key Issues in Minnesota Criminal Law Deskbook seminar, we had a visit from a four-footed friend: Barrett, Hennepin County Court Support Dog. Nicole Cornale presented "Supporting Vulnerable Participants: The Use of Support Animals in Minnesota Courts". Soon-to-be judge Sean Cahill also presented.
Attendees could go up to the dais and pet Barrett, but they weren't hounded.

Advanced Negotiation Training 2026 is today's live, in-person seminar, and Nina Meierding is also in-person at the Minnesota CLE Conference Center to help you take your negotiation skills to the next level! The first session was titled "Dealing with Different Perspectives of Reality" and other sessions included "The Art of the Apology", "Keys to Client-Centered Listening and Questioning" and "Obstacles to Creativity".

The final sessions of the 2026 MSBA Convention were "Preserving Public Trust in the Election Process" – Secretary of State Steve Simon (online) and Paul Linnell (in-person), and "Best Summer Ever! Harnessing Minnesota’s Great Outdoors to Prevent Burnout and Substance Misuse" with Kathleen S. Bray, Phillip M. Brodeen, David M. Motzenbecker & Jon Tynjala.
