New print for the featuring the ! Available online and this weekend at the fair (DM to put on hold). The Edina Theatre, an Art Deco landmark designed by Liebenberg and Kaplan, opened on August 31, 1934, featuring modern amenities like air-conditioning and a nursery, making it one of the largest suburban theaters in Minnesota at the time . After closing in 2020 due to the pandemic, the theater was acquired and renovated by Mann Theatres, reopening in September 2022 with modern upgrades and a new bar inspired by The Shining’s Gold Room.
