BIRL Member Spotlight: Dr. Daniel Rafter, MD
Dr. Daniel Rafter grew up in Chicago and double majored in Chemistry and Entrepreneurship at the University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis, MN. He graduated at Ross University (which is the top Caribbean Medical School). After graduating, he took a year off before residency to do Neurosurgery Research at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis under the direction of Dr. Uzma Samadani, M.D., Ph.D as the Clinical Coordinator for the TRACK-TBI study.
His ultimate goal is to end up in trauma surgery and critical care medicine. 🚑 👨‍⚕️

Meet Tabitha! Tabitha is currently a pre-med student majoring in Neuroscience at the University of Minnesota. She currently works at the Brain Injury Research Lab and U of M Genomics Center.
