Meet the BIOMES choreographers: SOPHIE

Sophia Pimsler .dancing_shrink is a choreographer, performing artist, and playwright. Her interdisciplinary projects explore identity, socio-political experience, and the “grey areas” of human behavior, often drawing from her background as a psychotherapist to create immersive, physically driven storytelling.

Her new work, Rules of the Game, explores how changing environments influence one’s sense of home, safety, and place.

Meet the BIOMES choreographers: ADDIE
ok is a California native who relocated to Minneapolis after graduating from UC Santa Cruz with a BA in Theater Arts and Dance. They have danced with a wide range of companies and projects in the Twin Cities, and love bringing curiosity, vulnerability, some foolishness, and deep grounded honesty and care into dance spaces.

Addie is presenting a new work titled Flip, which is in fact not a biome. Sorry.
