Cara leads her own lab that examines the impact of microbial activity on wide-ranging geological and environmental processes. Hello! This week’s featured scientist is Carlos Sanchez. Carlos is a Master’s student and a member of the Soybean Physiology and Management Laboratory in the Department of Agronomy and Plant Genetics at the University of Minnesota. His research mostly revolves around managing plants, specifically soybean and corn. Carlos’ discovered his passion for agriculture when he was young when his dad taught him the importance of agriculture in the world.
