What helps you feel calm? For me it’s water, being by a lake, river, bay, ocean, even a pond water makes me feel calm! Figuring out what helps us feel calm is a part of emotional awareness. By having the awareness, one is able to seek out calmness when feeling worried, anxious, and mad. Helping children seek out what helps them feel calm is a wonderful tool for them at home and school too!!!!
