This June, our team took an intentional break in beautiful Montana, staying on Flathead Lake at lodging owned by the Tribal Council, Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes (CSKT). This was a chance for our team to nurture relationships and balance so that we're ready to continue strengthening sovereignty and the Native nation rebuilding movement.

Together, we visited the Three Chiefs Cultural Center, where we toured the facility and learned about the land's history and the tribes who call it home. After the tour, the staff was led in a beading activity, each designing and crafting their own necklace to take home.

Throughout the week, activities were open in a "choose-your-own-adventure" style. Groups spent time getting to know each other by hiking in Glacier National Park, soaking in the tribally owned hot springs, exploring the lake and its Wild Horse Island, and shopping and dining locally around the reservation.

Nights were spent around the fire, and our final hours were spent on planning, team building, and strategy. The location truly stole the show. We thank our hosts on the Flathead Reservation and will forever cherish the memories we made and the laughs we shared.
