Knights win, 10-0. Second no-hitter of the season. Josh Gaworski strikes out 13 batters in 5 innings pitched, allows just one ball out of the infield. Edina boys Chester Dixon (3-for-3, RBI, 3 R, 2 SB) and Matthew Nunn (2-for-2, 2B, BB, 3 RBI) led the offense.

Knights steal a season-high 6 bases, including 2 each by Dixon and Jakob Kouneski (1-for-2, BB, R, 2 SB). Even Coach Ryan Meehan got in on the action, stealing 3rd base standing up without a throw to set up a big 6-run 3rd inning. Meehan led off the inning with a walk. A fielder's choice error put runners at 1st and 2nd, and the subsequent stolen base set up Carter Shook's sacrifice fly to make it 2-0. After a wild pitch scored the second run of the inning, the Knights pounded out 5 consecutive hits to open up a 7-0 lead. Kouneski (single), Austin Jerylo (single, RBI), Henry Laue (double), Dixon (single, RBI), and Nunn (double, 2 RBI) were responsible for the damage. The Knights would tack on 3 more runs in the 5th, capped off by a 2-run double from Michael Fleischhacker.

There was a scary moment late in the game, when Knights catcher-turned-outfielder Collin Columbus was struck in the head by a throw while running the bases. Columbus was forced to leave the game with a serious cut to his ear. We received an update from the ER where Collin was getting stitched up, and he appears to be doing alright. Hoping for a speedy recovery!
