I want to take a moment to appreciate content creators.
Not the ones with the ring lights and the perfectly timed transitions and the audio that somehow matches the beat exactly. Those people are talented and I respect them deeply and I do not understand how they do it.
I filmed this in one take and I did not edit it. I’m a small business owner and I’m learning that making things is the easy part. Telling people you made them is a whole other skill set that nobody warned me about.

I want to be honest with you about today.
I spent most of it applying for jobs. The kind where you upload your resume and then manually retype your entire resume into their website, field by field, for forty-five minutes, and then it says “we’ll be in touch” and you both know they won’t.
Then I closed the laptop, made some magnets, and now we’re off to softball pictures.
This is what building something looks like from the inside. It’s not always a ring light and a satisfying process video. Sometimes it’s a Tuesday where you do the unglamorous thing and then go watch your kid pose with a bat.
I’d rather be here than anywhere else, though. Even on the Tuesdays.
