Spring is here, and Douglas County Code Enforcement would like to remind property owners of their responsibilities regarding w**d control. As the snow melts and warmer weather sets in, w**ds begin to spread across the landscape, making proactive management essential.

Property owners are required to ensure proper w**d management on their premises. Code Enforcement will be issuing notices to areas of concern based on past persistent issues.

โ€œOur main concerns are traffic and public safety,โ€ said Ernie Strehlow, Head of Code Enforcement. โ€œProperty owners must keep their land clear of overgrown or hazardous vegetation to ensure safety and maintain a clean community.โ€
